This documentary follows the lives of former Indigenous gang members and gang associates who have put their destructive pasts behind them while, at the same time, telling their stories to prevent others from making similar mistakes. With insights from current and former gang members, including female gang associates, it takes a no-hold-barred look at gang culture and lifestyle to dispel myths and show the inner workings of Indigenous street gangs in Western Canada. How are gang members recruited? What role do females play in the gang lifestyle? Is it true that the only option for a gang member is death or life in prison?
