INTO THE LIGHT explores Human Trafficking in Indigenous Communities in Alberta. The documentary is designed to create awareness about our communities’ most misunderstood issue, and the way forward to put a stop to it. This video contains difficult subject matter, including the targeting, luring, and exploitation of our young people. Traffickers target the young and vulnerable. They have a script - and it’s time to bring that script INTO THE LIGHT. We recognize this topic is painful – and the willingness to learn is an act of courage and care. Every one of us has a role to play in building safer, more informed communities.

After this video is over, we can all work together to make sure that help is available, silos are broken, and these silence networks are stopped.
